LIMEKILN- Event Operations Manager


Responsibilities include:

  • Leading from the ground to manage the customer experience from point of enquiry to the delivery of the event with a focus on leading the operational running of event days.
  • Ensuring the brand standards are met at all times through venue presentation and all customer communications.
  • Assessing strategic ways to improve and develop the site to deliver efficiency and exceptional client experience at every step of the client journey.
  • Proactively implement ways to increase revenue and profitability, particularly from services provided through beverages.
  • Oversight and undersanding of venue facilities including contracts, kitchen, bar and venue operating requirements.
  • Working alongside the team to deliver exceptional weddings and events, including post-event reporting.
  • Genuine and approachable team leadership that will empower and inspire, including training and supporting staff, overseeing team rotas and deputising in the House Managers absence.
  • Identifying and escalating maintenance issues and dealing with these where necessary.
  • Working closely with the House Manager to ensure rotas, staffing, logistics and bars are covered and running efficiently.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to improve the operational functionality of the venue and working closely with the House Manager to implement improvements.
  • Creating and updating SOP’s to ensure effective delivery of every product.
  • Working closely with the House Manager to oversee revenue and hit target GPs.
  • Working alongside our catering suppliers to provide a seamless service for our clients.
  • Adhearing to Health and Safety and venue regulations.
  • Working alongside the team to answer the phone, emails, calls and working with clients through event planning as well as running on the day events.



  • Bar experience and drinks knowledge preferred
  • 3 years’ experience in management position with a hospitality background
  • Highest level understanding of exceptional customer service and high-end hosting
  • Highly organised, efficient and detail-oriented
  • Strong background in luxury functions and events
  • A natural communicator with experience leading all departments within the hospitality sector
  • A passion for food and beverage
  • Proven record of working to budgets
  • 1 year bar management or bartending experience



  • Salary: £35-42k per annum
  • Holiday allowance of 28 days (inclusive of bank holidays)


  • 45 hours a week over 5 days with two days off
