Chef de Partie

Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire

Responsibilities

  • Prepping for upcoming events under direction of Head Chef & Sous Chef
  • Cooking and plating for daily weddings, ensuring each plate delivered is to the same high standard as the last
  • Assist in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities, training junior members of staff where required
  • Ensure consistency for all daily events by completing daily reports for quality control
  • Ensuring open line of communication between all kitchen and FOH team
  • To participate in the HACCP procedures according to the company’s Food Safety Management
  • Help to ensure all kitchen surfaces remain clean and sanitised, and helping to ensure portion control and waste management

 

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as commis chef (2+ years)
  • Ability to spot and report problems quickly
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to cope under pressure, in a calm and efficient manner ensuring deadlines are met
