Event Manager

Kin House, Wiltshire

Responsibilities include:

  • Being someone who lives and breathes exceptional guest experience and has a passion for the wedding and event industry.
  • Ensuring all events are delivered to the brand standards and exceeding client expectations.
  • Managing a variety of events hosted at Kin House, including brand, corporate, private hire stays, menu tastings, client workshops, and luxury weddings.
  • Communicating with all relevant departments to deliver the event plan as agreed with our clients.
  • Ensuring the house standards are maintained, presentation is always kept at the highest levels and proactively identifying areas of improvement or refinement.
  • Ensuring your events are covered from a staffing perspective.
  • Overseeing the food and beverage service and leading your team.
  • Supporting teams to handle any complaints and escalating where necessary.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring all guest requirements are met and any special requests or travel arrangements are accommodated.
  • Working closely and collaboratively with the Event Operations Manager (EOM) and event delivery team to ensure seamless client experience from start to finish.
  • Being comfortable leading events for a 10-person VIP private dining event, as well as leading a service team for a 200-guest wedding.
  • Connecting and delivering personal service with all our clients from initial viewing through their planning journey to the end of their event.
  • Attending weekly operations meetings in the absence of EOM to ensure all plans are in place for each event and guest stay.
  • Assisting with driving clients were required.
  • Coordination with the Housekeeping team to ensure rooms are prepared to the highest standards before guest arrival and coordinate for any special requests during the stay.

 

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience in luxury event management/co-ordination.
  • Full UK Driving license.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Proficient with a till system such as Tabology or similar.

 

Package:

  • Holiday allowance of 28 days (inclusive bank holidays)
  • 45 hours over 5 days inclusive of evenings and weekends.
